Your role:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining processing equipment at a cutting-edge biorefinery facility. You’ll monitor plant systems, perform troubleshooting, collect quality control samples, and ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. This position requires both mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with automated control systems. The ideal candidate is flexible, safety-focused, and comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate and monitor plant equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient performance
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance tasks
- Collect and test process samples to ensure quality standards are met
- Accurately log data and report any irregularities in plant operations
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to a clean, hazard-free work environment
- Work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as part of a team-based schedule
What You’ll Bring:
- High school diploma or GED required; Technical certification or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in chemical or petro-chemical processing, brewing, or fermentation processes, or a similar industrial setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with control systems (DCS, PLCs, etc.)
- Ability to follow procedures, work independently, and stay calm under pressure
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Must meet US person status for ITAR compliance
