Job Description
Apex Design Group is looking for a full or part-time structural / civil CAD-BIM technician. As a CAD Technician you will implement engineered designs and coordinate within all project boundaries and limitations. Work includes creating both 3D and 2D models for building and site design. The candidate should be able to work in a self-directed manner in all aspects of the building design and document production process.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities to include designing/drafting a variety of structural and civil projects in Revit or AutoCAD. Technician will be responsible for creating construction drawings in the form of plans and details. Will be responsible for performing drawings accurately and with appropriate detail and to meet schedule deadlines.

Qualifications
Minimum experience required – 6 mos. in one or more of the following programs:

• AutoCAD 2007 or newer
• Revit
• Civil 3D

Experience in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office products are important. Must be a detail-oriented candidate that is self-motivated and is able to multi-task. Good communication skills and knowledge of building construction and construction drawings are necessary.
