Brooks & Nelson’s client is seeking an Automation/Instrumentation Technician.

THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Automation/Instrumentation Technician, the successful candidate will perform skilled work in the installation, maintenance, alteration, and repair of a variety of Analytical Instruments and PLC systems and equipment related to our unique processes.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain/repair automation systems – PLC related
  • Maintain/install/repair flow system components: flow meters and modulating
    valves
  • Install/calibrate/repair analytical instruments throughout our unique process
  • Incorporate into the PLC system controls / HMI changes

QUALIFICATIONS

  • PLC / Instrumentation / Automation knowledge and experience (2-year degree preferred)
  • Computer use, PLC I/O card wiring experience
  • Able to read diagrams and schematics
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capability
