The Role
In this role, you will be a critical part of the Collections team. You will assist in preserving the Credit Union’s assets by controlling delinquent loan accounts, collecting delinquent loan payments and/or recovering collateral.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of similar or related experience
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Contact delinquent accounts by phone and mail. Take appropriate action to bring accounts current.
• Analyze financial situation of delinquent borrowers and make recommendations to repossess collateral when other arrangements to bring the loan current are unsuccessful.
• Maintain accurate files and reports on all collection’s activity.
• Inform management of trends in loan underwriting contributing to delinquent/charged-off loans.
• Testify at legal proceedings as required.

Schedule
This Full-Time position offers 40 hours per week, with hours normally between 8:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday, and rotating Saturdays from 8:00am-2:00pm. If Wasatch Peaks sounds like the right fit, let us know by filling out our 5-minute application. We are excited to meet you!
