As a Laborer at Oshkosh AeroTech, you’ll join a team that supports the production of systems used in airports around the world. This entry-level role is a critical starting point for many future opportunities across the plant, offering hands-on experience in a wide range of tasks. 1st Shift: $21.64
2nd Shift: $22.64
YOUR IMPACT
- Support production operations by assisting with assembly, materials handling, and general labor tasks
- Read and follow work orders and blueprints to complete assigned jobs accurately and safely
- Move materials, pick parts, and help manage inventory and shortages as needed
- Use hand, air, and electric power tools to assist with basic fabrication or finishing work
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and meet daily housekeeping expectations
- Understand and practice Jetway quality procedures and contribute to continuous improvement
- Develop skills to grow into specialized production roles throughout the facility
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical work including standing, bending, climbing, and using ladders
- Comfort using basic hand tools and tape measures to 1/16”
- Basic reading, math, and comprehension skills to follow instructions and part drawings
- May require forklift or overhead crane certification depending on assignment
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a warehouse, construction, or production environment
- Familiarity with Syteline or other production tracking systems

You’ll rotate across departments as needed and may be assigned new responsibilities as you grow. The environment includes noise, movement, and exposure to machinery.
