About the Role
Daily Rise Coffee is looking for a hands-on, mechanically minded Maintenance Technician who is either experienced with—or genuinely excited to learn—coffee and espresso equipment. This role also supports general vehicle maintenance and building upkeep across our cafés, drive-thrus, and roastery.

What You’ll Do

Coffee & Espresso Equipment

• Maintain and repair espresso machines, grinders, brewers, batch brew systems
• Support upkeep of roastery equipment
• Perform routine maintenance: descaling, gasket replacement, flushing lines, tune-ups
• Assist with equipment installation during café build outs or remodels

General Vehicle Maintenance

• Perform routine checks on company vehicles (oil, fluids, air filters, tire condition)
• Coordinate scheduling for professional service when needed
• Keep vehicles clean, organized, and safely operational for café deliveries and events

Building & Facilities Upkeep

• Perform light repairs: basic plumbing, electrical replace (lights, switches), drywall patching, painting
• Maintain café and roastery systems including water filters, drains, and small fixtures
• Handle preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and repair costs
• Coordinate with contractors for larger repairs or specialized work
• Support seasonal tasks: snow removal assistance, outdoor clean-up, minor landscaping

Support & Documentation

• Maintain logs of repairs, parts used, and service intervals
• Respond to urgent maintenance needs across multiple locations
• Work closely with café managers and roastery staff to minimize downtime

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Mechanically inclined with a problem-solving mindset
• Reliable, organized, strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license + ability to travel between locations
• Positive attitude aligned with our “Promoting Positive Energy” mission

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

• Espresso machine repair experience
• Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or facilities background
• Auto maintenance experience
• Familiarity with café operations
