The IRS will be hosting an in-person hiring event in Ogden, UT on December 18th and 19th from 9am- 3pm. During this event, we will be making on-the-spot job offers and completing various steps in the hiring process, including fingerprinting. Before attending the event you must first apply to the job announcement and we will review your application. If you qualify, you will attend the in-person event to receive your tentative job offer and complete several pre-employment steps.
IRS Clerk and Tax Examiners perform a variety of administrative tasks associated with tax return processing. Your job duties will vary based on the position and may include identifying and reviewing forms, preparing inventory reports, responding to taxpayer correspondence, resolving account issues, and reviewing tax returns for errors and missed information. The IRS offers in-depth training for these positions, so no prior experience is needed.
