Social Media Specialist

Position Overview: The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating, curating, and managing content across social media platforms in alignment with Chick-fil-A’s brand standards. This role plays a vital part in connecting with our community, promoting events and menu items, and showcasing our team’s culture in a fun, authentic, and family-friendly way.

Key Responsibilities:
● Plan, create, and publish engaging content at least 3x per week (posts, photos, stories, reels) that reflect Chick-fil-A’s voice and brand identity.

● Capture high-quality photos and videos during events, daily operations, and team member features, ensuring all content is visually appealing and on brand.

● Manage content calendar and schedule posts to align with marketing initiatives, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.

● Engage with followers by responding promptly to comments, messages, and reviews in a sincere, kind, and brand-appropriate tone.

● Monitor social channels for community engagement opportunities, highlight customer feedback, and help resolve issues through thoughtful communication.

● Collaborate with leadership and team members to gather content ideas and plan features such as giveaways, product spotlights, and event promotions.

● Maintain a flexible schedule to capture media during events/across multiple shifts.

● Uphold all brand guardrails and legal guidelines, including obtaining photo release forms when necessary.

Qualifications:
● Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook and content best practices.

● Basic photography and video-editing skills (iPhone proficiency preferred. Must use an iPhone model 15 or higher).

● Creative mindset with excellent written communication skills.

● Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

● Positive, engaging personality aligned with our values of hospitality and care.

● Must maintain flexible availability (5-8 hours per week), including occasional evenings or weekends for events.

Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age upon hire date

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must be regularly available for a range of days and dayparts (mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.) Sundays excluded.

Pay
Starting $15 an hour
