Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fine dining and a strong background in food service management. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Chef De Cuisine in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This role requires leadership skills, creativity, and the ability to manage shifts effectively while maintaining a positive and productive kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with our restaurant’s standards.
• Help manage kitchen operations during shifts, ensuring that all staff are performing their duties efficiently.
• Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary to ensure all ingredients are available.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen at all times.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen area.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within fine dining establishments is required
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food management, and hospitality best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while managing shift operations.
• Experience with inventory control processes and food service management systems is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service are essential.

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
