Job Summary:
The detailer will produce construction, fabrication, and details for steel plate structures such as tanks, pressure vessels, and structural steel erected in mining, petroleum, and industrial projects. Each piece of the assembly will be dimensioned. These structures require welding with many different types of details. There will also be commercial and high-end, complicated residential construction drafting options.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Must be proficient with structural drafting and detailing in AutoCAD.
• Experience with structural modeling and drafting in Revit is preferred but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail, highly organized, and committed to producing accurate work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the primary business language, English.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate professionally with clients and coworkers.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set up drawings for each assigned project.
• Review structural and architectural drawings and specifications for any conflicts/questions.
• Revise drawings and details based on the designer’s / client’s notes and instructions.
