Core Job Responsibilities
- Perform fabrication tasks including operating rotational molding machinery and performing post-molding processes (de-flashing, drilling, routing, assembly, etc.)
- Perform inspection tasks including dimensional inspections (calipers, pi tapes, micrometers, etc.), borescope inspections, ultrasonic inspections, ultrasonic inspections, visual inspections, defect characterization, and dispositioning
- Maintain rotational molding machinery, serve as an expert on the machine’s functions and operations, perform and document regular preventive maintenance
- Maintain a meticulously clean and organized operating environment
- Perform precision parts cleaning and cleanliness inspections
- Support an Aerospace level Quality Management System, including following detailed Shop Floor Work instructions, documenting material traceability and tool traceability, understanding and complying with quality standards, and contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Support additional shop needs as necessary, such as installing new equipment and supporting other fabrication and testing activities (filament winding, burst testing, etc.)
Typical Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- High proficiency in operating power tools, hand tools, and machinery
- Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
