Hours: Monday – Friday 8 am to noon (flexible up to 20 hours a week)
Wage: $15.00
Job Duties: Assist the Nature Center staff with the care and safety of birds and small animals. Help maintain weeds and animal habitats. Feed the animals, clean their cages and exhibits, and help monitor their health. Assist with community outreach at events, classes, and workshops.
Requirements: Must pass a background check, be dependable and committed to working with live animals, be willing to learn, and occasionally get dirty.
The Federal Work-Study program allows eligible students to work and earn money to help offset their educational expenses while attending school. Students must demonstrate financial need by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to our school (school code 015526) for review.
