Job Description
As a Payroll Admin, you’ll quickly respond to client/employee phone calls and instant messages, complete administrative requests from regulatory agencies and support our payroll team. Working collectively as a team, you’ll contribute to a Best of HR company, providing customized and accurate payroll services and more!
This is a full-time, in-office position at our headquarters in Sandy, UT.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answers client and employee phone calls and instant messages.
- Completes and sends Verification of Employment forms and various requests from regulatory agencies.
- Enters garnishments and child support data.
- Assists with mail and FedEx shipments for payroll delivery.
- Provides ongoing support to the Payroll Supervisor and Team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ years customer service experience
- Previous payroll experience preferred

- Strong attention to detail and ability to take initiative
- Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize tasks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High degree of professionalism and ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
- Ability to learn Stratus System software
- Strong work ethic and team player

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit at a desk while working on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
- Persistent typing and answering client/employee phone calls.
