Iron Gate Catering provides top-notch catering services throughout northern Utah and Salt Lake City.  Iron Gate Catering, located in Brigham City, has an opening for a part-time/full-time Prep Cook.

Prefer 6 months to a year of experience, but not required. Responsibilities include gathering and preparing food for catered events, maintaining a clean kitchen, and ensuring client parties are cooked and prepared without issue. Each event booked by clients can have entirely different menus, which gives our employees ample opportunities to be creative and experiment rather than making the same food every day. We are looking for someone particular about their work, with great attention to detail, who takes pride in themselves and their work, and will be consistent in their output. We need someone honest, has integrity and initiative, and good communication skills.

Daily tasks will involve building salads, fruit displays, making dressings and sauces, seasoning proteins, making house-made recipes, and completing the master prep list in the kitchen. Other daily tasks could also include cleaning the kitchen and washing dishes.
