The Coconut Cult is hiring hands-on technical students, near-completers and recent graduates to train into advanced manufacturing roles at our growing Pleasant View facility. This is a production-equipment position, not a traditional maintenance job. You will learn to own the operation of automated machinery and solve first-line equipment problems during production.

Why This Opportunity
The Coconut Cult grew more than 140 percent in 2025 and expects approximately 90 percent growth in 2026. Our products are sold by Whole Foods Market, Wegmans and Erewhon, as well as Target stores nationwide. We are building a new 300,000-square-foot Utah manufacturing operation. You can join while the equipment, technical standards and advancement paths are still being built.

Students We Want to Meet
Direct food-manufacturing experience is not required. This opportunity aligns especially well with OTECH students and graduates from Automation Technology, Control Systems and Robotics, Industrial Systems Fundamentals, Machining Technology, Welding Technology and related hands-on programs. Experience from labs, internships, military service, automotive or diesel work, farm equipment and personal mechanical projects also counts.

What You Will Learn and Do
Operate, set up and change over high-speed filling, packaging and food-production equipment
Work with fillers, mixers, tanks, pumps, conveyors, motors, sensors, pneumatics, servos and HMIs
Use a logical troubleshooting process to identify faults, make approved adjustments and restore production
Learn best-in-class food-production processes supporting organic and kosher certification, GMP compliance, food safety, quality, and customer and retailer requirements
Build technical depth through OEM equipment training and paid technical education

Pay and Benefits
Most qualified hires will start around $30 per hour; candidates with directly comparable experience may qualify for up to $34 per hour
Monday through Friday with no regularly scheduled weekends
The company pays 100 percent of PPO medical, dental and vision premiums for employees and their families
