Employment Type: Temporary (with potential for full-time hire)

Position Overview:

Janadhi & Company LLC is seeking a Level 1 IT Technician to assist in upgrading Windows 10 workstations to Windows 11 at a healthcare facility. This is a temporary, project-based position with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow structured upgrade procedures while maintaining compliance with healthcare data security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades on end-user computers.
• Ensure all user data, applications, and network configurations are backed up and restored correctly.
• Verify hardware compatibility and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Work with the IT team to ensure minimal disruption to healthcare staff.
• Maintain accurate records of upgrades and report progress to the project lead.
• Follow all security and confidentiality protocols related to healthcare data (HIPAA compliance awareness).
• Assist with basic hardware setup, imaging, and software installations as needed.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; IT-related certification or coursework preferred (CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar).

Experience:

1+ year experience in IT support, help desk, or computer repair.
Prior experience upgrading or imaging Windows systems preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, domain joins, and user profiles.
• Basic troubleshooting of hardware and network connectivity issues.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Requirements:

• Must pass a background check (healthcare facility requirement).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be available to start next week
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility.

Pay rate: $18-22hr
